About the Role:
As a Senior Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the planning and execution of life science meetings, conferences, and conventions. You will collaborate closely with internal planning teams and clients to ensure seamless service delivery and foster strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and staff. Your expertise will guide the management of program budgets, logistics, and compliance, ensuring that every event meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

You're Good At:
- Meeting Planning: You excel in coordinating all aspects of meeting logistics, from budget management to on-site execution. Your ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams ensures that all requirements are met.
- Technology Tools: Proficient in using Cvent and other technology platforms, you manage attendee data, create reports, and maintain accurate records to support event planning and execution.
- Client Communication: You are skilled at advising clients on critical deadlines and logistical arrangements, ensuring that all parties are informed and aligned throughout the planning process.
- Supplier Management: Your negotiation skills and attention to detail help you secure the best possible contracts and services from suppliers, while maintaining compliance with all guidelines.
- Compliance: You have a strong understanding of compliance requirements and ensure that all documentation and processes are in place for audit readiness.

You Might Also Have:
- A minimum of five years of experience in life science meetings management, including congress and convention planning.
- Proven experience in managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Cvent, with a focus on budget management and reporting.
- A college degree, preferably in a related field.
- Previous experience in participant attendee management for life science meetings.
- Knowledge of the travel industry and various destinations.

We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Senior Program Manager  is between $60,000 - $85,000 The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
